SPECIFICATIONS

SITE SKIN

The Site Skin position consists of two background images that frame the KVR Audio home page and news pages. The images are clickable (they will both use the same target URL but we track which side was clicked).

• Two static image files in JPG, PNG or GIF format (NOT animated).
• Maximum File Size: 200KB.
• Image Size:
  • At least 600px wide.
    At least 1200px tall.
• To ensure your primary message does not get cut off on lower resolutions, it should appear in the 100px of space on the right side of the left image and the left side of the right image.

Anyone who visits KVR Audio using a screen width wider than 1366 pixels will see the Site Skin images on either side of the home page content.

FEATURED NEWS

The Featured News Item is simply a tagged news item from the regular KVR news feed.  The original news item and Featured News Item do not have to appear at exactly the same time – KVR endeavors to post news as quickly as is humanly possible and would prefer not to hold a news item back just because a sponsored headline is not due to begin for a few days. So, a news item could be posted several days before the sponsored headline is scheduled to begin which means that this is also a good way to “bump” your headline back to the top.

• Formats: News headline to coincide with a legitimate news posting.  The first image found in the text field will be automatically selected for display on the homepage.  The optimum aspect ratio for the image is 16:9.

NOTE: KVR retains editorial control over the contents of the news item and it must only be for news items that KVR would normally post.

FEATURED DEAL

• Formats: Deal headline to coincide with a legitimate deal posting.  The first image found in the text field will be automatically selected for display in the Featured Deal slot on the homepage.  The optimum aspect ratio for the image is 16:9.

FEATURED PRODUCT

• Formats: Product listing in the KVR Product Database.
• Remember, you can manage your product listings at KVR using a Developer Account

eNEWS SPONSORSHIP

• Format: The ad should consist of an image, around 50 words of text, and a link.
• Dimensions: The image should be GIF, JPG or PNG (NOT animated). The image must be within these dimensions:
  • Minimum width: 200px.
  • Maximum width: 600px.
  • Minimum height: 60px.
  • Maximum height: 250px.
  • The image will shrink to fit on small screens (i.e. phones) and be up to the image’s maximum on larger screens.
• File Size: 100 Kb for the Newsletter image banner.

DEVELOPER eBLAST

• Format: The text / HTML part should consist of a sentence or two.
• Dimensions: The image should be 600x(200-1000); GIF, JPG or PNG (NOT animated).
•  … or you can send us an html formatted email which we can use instead. Please ensure styling is inline. We require only the content between the BODY tags as we will add it to our HTML email template.

SEASONAL eBLASTS

• Dimensions: A 300×250 static image. A gif is only OK as a static gif, not an animated one. File size is “reasonable”. Definitely less than 100KB. Ideally less than 50KB. . One short descriptive sentence text.  Something that wraps onto 3 lines max seems to look best in our emails, which is around 80-90 characters (including spaces) max.

FORUM SPONSORSHIPS

• Format: Image + Text (or just an image).
• Dimensions:
  • Max width for image when used alongside text: 300px; Max height: 100px.
  • Alternatively you can supply a 1034px * 150px image to be used as a hero image (no additional text).
• File Size: 60 Kb maximum.
